West Seattle Junction FC is delighted to announce a new partnership with HEADCHECK Health (‘HEADCHECK’) — a leading provider of tech-enabled concussion protocol and management solutions.
HEADCHECK’s industry-leading technology simplifies the implementation and execution of concussion protocols through its innovative use of mobile, cloud, and analytic technology. As part of this partnership, JFC will utilize HEADCHECK to execute their concussion protocol process. The technology will be utilized for baseline, post-injury, and return-to-play concussion tests throughout the season, ensuring a high level of safety for all players.
“We are thrilled to see West Seattle Junction FC take their concussion management to the next level with HEADCHECK,” said Harrison Brown, CEO and Co-Founder of HEADCHECK.
“Our players’ health and well-being is our top priority,” said Jessica Pierce, JFC CEO and Co-Owner. “We’re proud to partner with HEADCHECK to provide top-of-the-line care for the team, especially through technology that enhances our concussion protocol process.”
“It’s vital that we have technology that aids us in supporting the health and safety of the players we treat,” adds Mark Bouma, Co-Owner of Lake Washington Physical Therapy, who are JFC’s partner in medical treatment of the team. “HEADCHECK’s platform will allow us to smoothly store data and communicate about player injuries and health throughout the season.”
Established in 2013 from a concussion research lab, HEADCHECK Health was created to address a critical challenge in the sports medicine industry: the complexity of implementing concussion protocols typically leaves athletes and organizations vulnerable to risk. Since its inception, HEADCHECK’s technology has been embraced by thousands of sports leagues, governing bodies, and regulators, including Major League Soccer and USA Cycling. Notably, HEADCHECK’s solutions have been instrumental in some of the world’s most prestigious sporting events, including the Olympics and Tour de France.
